Driving in the winter can be extremely dangerous. As we speak right now, someone has fatally got injured while driving in the cold. Tips In Driving In The Winter

Cruise control can be a nice feature, but not when the roads are icy. Please close off cruise control and drive slowly. As the old saying goes, if you cruise, you lose.
Accelerate and brake in case the vehicle is skidding on the road. Also approach slowly when coming to turns.
Always buckle up when driving in the winter time. It can be dangerous out there on the icy roads and highways. As a matter of fact, you should be doing this all year.
Increase your following distance to allow for plenty of time to stope for the vehicle ahead of you on the road and highways.
Use extreme caution when driving your vehicle on bridges, ramps, and overpasses. This is where the most accidents happen during the winter monts.
